SCHOOL: Mpondasi Secondary School

On 25 June at Madec there was meeting of different schools in the district. The aim of the meeting is to encourage young student who are in secondary school to work hard at everything they are doing.  Students from Polytechnic and University of Malawi are the ones who organized this meeting.

One of the students from Polytechnic Bashira Makumba from Malindi in Mangochi District is doing her final year in accounting and she encouraged girls never to look down on themselves but should know that they can reach their goals if they learn to manage their time well and work hard.

Not only Bashira Makumba advice us but also Akimu who is also doing her final year in collage encouraged us that as Muslims we should work hard because in the offices there are no Muslims so it is difficult for us to do anything we want. Students must work hard at university.

After the speeches there was quiz that was organized by Chancellor College University and I was very happy to be part of the quiz team and I won one hard cover.
Other students from different schools were selected to work together as Mangochi Muslim Student Association with the Muslim Student Education.
