UNICEF continues to do recommendable work in Mangochi district. This international NGO is one of the NGOs that encourages sanitation in communities and schools.
UNICEF has also helped Lungwena Community Day Secondary School in the construction of two toilets.
According to Lungwena CDSS Head Teacher Mr Chiweyu, the school only had two toilets which were not in good condition and the health of the students at the school was not in danger because there could have contracted diseases.
"The construction of these new toilets will help to prevent diseases at the school," he said.
Lungwena School is one of the schools which lacks a lot of facilities and we need well-wishers to come and help in solving some of these problems.
