Child rights are very important in human development stage since they play an important role in ensuring that every child is entitled to conditions in which he or she can grow positively.

All children have a right to name and nationality. In this respect, one initiative that has been taken in Malawi is the Malawi Voter Registration system.

Children are also entitled to equal treatment before the law.

Children have a right to know and to be raised by parents.

Every child is also entitled to be protected from exploitation or any treatment, work, or punishment that is dangerous or interferes with his or her education.

Therefore, children must be protected
