Educating a girl child is the same as educating the nation.

In developing countries equal access to education is still a problem as compared to developed countries. Many organisations are working tirelessly making sure that as many girls as boys have access to education.

Many girls in Malawi especially Mangochi are on bursaries such as UNICEF, CAMFED and many more.

Many parents fail to send their children to school because of financial problems little by little this will become history. Organisations provide girls with school fees, uniform, shoes and other learning materials.

Organisations are easing the problems girls face in their everyday life. This makes people to realise how important education is to a girl child.

Some organisations do not only focus on secondary level, they also assist on tertiary level.

It is quite unfortunate that education seems not to have value in Makanjira village; This is a place where people believe in going to South Africa to seek for jobs.
