PLAYFUL STUDENTS DISTURB CLASSES

Jessica Sande
I believe education is a key to success. Any person can be successful if he or she works extra hard, but to my surprise some form four students at Chimwala Community Day Secondary School are not serious with their studies. These students are always busy making noise during lessons.

When a teacher advises them, they always make unnecessary comments contrary to the advice given. Such behavior forces teachers to leave classes thereby encoring loss.

When I interviewed one of these playful students, he disclosed that he is already rich. He said he simply wants to go to school to grow up so that he can manage his riches well. He also challenged that not every one of the educated people got jobs but only those who have their relatives in companies or government.

He added that even if he can try his best studying, he will not pass the exams so he just does things to disturb others. Such behaviors are not only affecting teachers but also students.
