Mangochi North East shadow Member of Parliament (MP) Honorable Martin Nyengo has provided two bicycles to form 1 related students at St. Martins CDSS, Cecelia and Charity Mtempeka (twins).

These girls come from Mpumbe village which is 12 kms away from school. They travel 12 kms daily by foot and without any other means of transport. This is a hindrance/barrier/burden to girls and in school performance.

Lameck Isaac, the shadow MP Martin Nyengo's the secretary general knew the problem. He consulted the shadow MP to assist them. They then managed to buy a bicycle.

Gladly, all students assembled on the session where Cecilia and Charity were receiving the bicycle from Lameck, on behalf of shadow MP Martin Nyengo. After receiving the present, Mr Lameck said that it is their will to help those who are needy.

"Our will is to help and and support all people in schools and community," Lameck said.

The Deputy headteacher, Mr Ajibu gave his remarks, "We thank for what you have done. You expose a problem and brought a solution."

He also said that there are other students who are coming from far areas who need assistance.
In his response, Mr Lameck promised that they will do more greater things.
