Silence costs nothing but screaming brings salvation. The baby who does not cry dies on her mother's back but a cryer receives love and care. Students are the hope of the nation, but if hope is insufficient, how will it be permanent?

Many secondary schools are lacking books for the new curriculum. So, how can students be the hope of the nation if they don't have resources to use? 2018 MSCE results are worth a question to ask about. How can there be no 6 points student? Should we say that there is no hardworking students across Malawi who can score 6 points? Let's open our eyes and see, 63% is not good enough.

Today's Malawi is better off in terms of access to information than yesterday's. Today, technology has come in, available in all corners of the country. Today schools have electricity. So if electricity supplied is insufficient and there is frequent black outs, how will students access electronic information? How will students study without electricity at night? Many students especially those in boarding schools fail to study due to this problem. At the end, they fail exams.

Students are agents of change in a nation. The river has a source, so too is the nation by depending on students.
