In the month of July and August (During
holiday) I have been going to Radio Lilanguka Station to do “Youth in Action” radio
program. It is a youth radio program and there is an alliance between Timveni
and Radio Lilanguka for the program to be successful.
I am one of the members of Youth Out Loud at Timveni team.
We are a unified team and we are able to produce the radio program which is
presented at Radio Lilanguka station on 91.0mhz in Mangochi and it is aired
from 2:30pm and 7:30pm every Sundays.
This programme has several segments which are “Liwu la
achinyamata”, “Maluso mbwee”, “Role model”, and “Hot music” and “Mbeu sakazinga”.
We meet on Saturdays at the station to discuss issues that
are faced by the young people in the district. We take such issues as a topic
and we clarify much on the issue and at the end we do drama concerning our
topic of discussion that is presented at the segment Mbeu Sakazinga.
