Aisha appeals for Boy/Girl sponsorship

It has now been a year since Koche Community Day Secondary School sponsored both boys and girls in different organizations as a way of promoting gender equality and social justice. 85% of girls are on CAMFED (Campaign for Girls Education), 9% of other girls are on UNICEF funding and 4% of boys are also on UNICEF.

This is an interesting development in the history of the school for the first time boys are also being sponsored by organizations since most of the times our country looks at the future of a girl child only and uses the saying which goes “When you educate a girl child, you have educated the whole nation” but now that perception has changed that educating both boys and girls then the whole nation is educated.

Parents of these students really appreciate the sponsorship as most boys are not dropping out of school because of lacking fees than before, so let us support both boys and girls for better Nation.
