I was extremely happy when l was selected to attend a Journalism skills training in Mangochi which was organized by Timveni Child and Youth Media Organization with support from UNICEF.

During day one of the training, l was introduced about the project which is happening in Mangochi and l learnt more about journalism, ways which journalists use to share information, roles of journalism and qualities of a good journalist.

Day number two of the training, l also learned different things like child rights, news gathering and writing, news values, writing styles, source of news, types of stories, how to write articles on Blog, interviewing skills and importance and stages of interviews.

The two day training really helped me in my studies since l will be able to write stories on different issues and share them internationally and people will be aware of the issues that happens in Malawi.
