Fredokiss excites students at Mpondasi Secondary School

On Tuesday 29^th May, excitement reached a fever pitch at Mpondasi Secondary School when UNICEF arrived at the around 11:00 am along with musician champion for Children Fredokiss (Penjani Kalua).

There were screams everywhere as the students were very excited and amazed with the coming of musician Fredokiss.

The main purpose of the visit was to encourage education on girls and boys as well.

Speaking during the event, Mrs Issa who is a role model expressed her experience in education, her childhood and her problems during school time and achievements in life as well as encouragement on education.

In his remarks, Fredokiss who is the champion of UNICEF advised the girls to avoid early marriages and having sexual relationships.

He advised boys to respect girls and treat them as their own sisters.

Fredokiss also shared his background, the stages he went through and expressed his achievements in life.

As one of the celebrities (artist) in this country he also performed at the event.

So far he has promised to give scholarships (which is for tuition only) to five boys at Mpondasi School.
