There was chaos in the town of Mangochi when fire broke out at the Mangochi district hospital on 15th April.
It was around 10 am when the fire started at the hospital.
According to people's opinions the fire started due to an electric fault.
A lot of property has burnt in the fire.
The affected buildings are the children administration building, pregnant women's Ward for inspections.
Fortunately the fire didn't reach the pharmacy department at the hospital.
Until afternoon the fire fighters from Zomba had not arrived on the scene.
In order to fight the fire the youth of Mangochi district Town helped effectively ,they working with the police in removing the medicine from the medical store which is near the scene .
A lot of people saw the fire and it was very terrible.
A lot of information will be out when the DHO speaks on the matter.
