Timveni Youth Out Loud team and UNICEF conducted a supplementary activity on the project from 21st February to 23rd February. With the aim of following up on the learners that were trained in journalism skills during the first tranche in September 2017 in the following schools; Majuni Secondary, Namwera Secondary and Monkey Bay Secondary schools.
During the follow up, learners were able to recall what they were taught and some are able to practice. Some learners have shown that the project is helping since they are now able to speak in public with confidence and report on issues that are affecting them in their respective communities.
