I want to be a solder
So that l should have a bright future
Whilst protecting my country la Malawi

Looking smart in my black suit while going to work
My family will be happy
When l grow up and finish school

I want to help those that does not know the goodness of school
While telling them about my future
When l grow up and finish school

When l grow up and finish school
I should spread the good news
In this world like a journalist
Speaking on the radio
Speaking good about education
When l grow up and finish school.
